Space is often limited in workplace and production environments. Aisles are narrow, work areas are filled with machines or materials, and the ground is not always level. In such conditions, it can be difficult to move heavy objects efficiently.
The Fero Carrier has been developed to provide support for internal transport in precisely these types of environments. With a compact design measuring 780 mm wide, electric travel drive and caterpillar tracks, the machine is suitable for use in places where forklift trucks or pallet trucks have limitations.
Compact, manoeuvrable and user-friendly
Unlike forklift trucks, the Fero Carrier does not require a certificate to operate. It is controlled by a remote control with gradual speed control, making the machine accurate and easy to operate by different employees.
Its compact design allows it to manoeuvre between workstations, racks or installations. At the same time, the carrier can carry up to 2,000 kg, depending on the model. This makes it suitable for transporting heavy parts, tools or pallets.
Alternative to forklift trucks and pallet trucks
Pallet trucks often have limited load capacity and are difficult to manoeuvre in tight corners. Forklift trucks offer power, but are large and require certified personnel. The Fero Carrier offers an alternative that combines power with manoeuvrability and simplicity.
On uneven or damaged floors, the carrier remains stable thanks to its undercarriage. This allows materials to be moved over transition joints, concrete pavers or outdoor areas around the workshop, for example.
